Ukrainian law enforcement officers have confirmed the presence of at least nine torture chambers in the de-occupied territories of the Kherson region.
Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin announced this, according to him, the bodies of more than 400 civilians who were killed were also found.
“According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the presence of nine torture chambers in the liberated territory of the Kherson region has been confirmed. The bodies of 432 civilians who were killed were also discovered,” said the Prosecutor General.
Kostin added that the mine threat remains high, the occupiers mined many territories and buildings in the region.
Currently, 12 joint prosecutorial and investigative groups are working in the territory of Kherson region, they are investigating crimes of the Russian Federation.
At the beginning of November, the Russian Federation announced the complete withdrawal of its occupation troops from Kherson and the right-bank part of the region.
