From the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation until March 21, 2023, the National Police of Ukraine opened 67,639 criminal proceedings regarding crimes committed by the Russians and their henchmen.
This is reported by the press service of the National Police: “Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, investigators of the National Police of Ukraine have initiated 67,639 criminal proceedings based on the facts of crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine by servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and their accomplices.”
The largest number of cases – 55,590 – were opened under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code (Violation of laws and customs of war).
