Critical infrastructure in Odessa region under attack by Russians, city on generators

On the night of December 10, the Russians again attacked the Odessa region with strike drones. The air defense shot down most of the drones, but a hit on an infrastructure facility was recorded, followed by the ignition of a warehouse. There were no casualties, the fire was quickly extinguished. Critical infrastructure is operating stably.

At about 11:00 p.m. on the night of December 10, the Ananiyivska community experienced the most powerful attack since the start of the full-scale war. According to the head of the community, Yuriy Tyshchenko, critical infrastructure facilities were hit.

“Residential buildings and civilians were not affected,” he noted.

Local residents counted more than 30 hits. Special equipment and more than two dozen rescuers were involved to eliminate the consequences.

According to the State Emergency Service, as a result of the night attack: a fire broke out at a critical infrastructure facility; a warehouse was damaged; there is no threat to the population, the situation is under control.

The head of the Podilskyi district military administration, Mykhailo Lazarenko, added that the operational work of the services allowed us to quickly localize the damage and restore control over the territory.
