Every day, soldiers of the Russian army search for various types of weapons in the populated areas of the Gulyaipil community. Over the past month and a half, the Russians have intensified FPV drone attacks. This was reported by Serhiy Yarmak, the head of the Gulyaipil City Military Administration.
At present, 2.5 thousand people live in the territory of the community out of 20 thousand who lived before the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. All critical infrastructure in the community was destroyed and damaged. The Russians are hitting populated areas with guided air bombs, artillery and drones.
“In the last month and a half, attacks by FPV drones have intensified. They hit private houses and cars of civilians. We have had no electricity, no water, no drainage, no gas supply since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. More than two years – without these conditions of civilization. Everything works on generators, including mobile communication,” says Yarmak.
According to the official, the people who remain in the Gulyaipil community are provided with humanitarian aid – from building materials to free medicines.
