Damaged educational institutions, sports complex and houses: consequences of enemy strikes on Zaporizhzhia region

During December 10, the Russian military launched 268 strikes with artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and drones on cities and villages of the region.

This was reported by the National Police of Zaporizhzhia  region.

On December 10, the Russian army launched strikes on Polohivs’kyi and Vasylivs’kyi districts. As a result of these attacks, houses of civilians were damaged: walls, roofs were damaged and windows were broken. The surrounding area was also damaged.

In addition, on December 10, the Russians launched a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia: a medical facility was destroyed, civilian infrastructure facilities, high-rise buildings, educational institutions, cars, a sports complex, office and other premises were damaged. Emergency rescue operations are underway at the site of the missile strike.

As of this morning, it is known that 7 people have died, another 12 women, 9 men and a 5-year-old girl have been injured. There may still be people under the rubble.

Proceedings have been opened under Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 438 “Violation of the Laws and Customs of War” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for all facts of Russian war crimes.
