Debris from downed “Shahed” damaged houses in Cherkasy region, three people injured

In Cherkasy region, air defense forces shot down seven Russian “Shahed” drones on the night of February 19. As a result of falling debris in the Uman district, residential buildings, power lines and utility buildings were damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration, Igor Taburets.

“Another night with an alarm of almost six hours in the region. Our defenders at this time repelled another Russian attack. This time they destroyed seven Russian UAVs within our territory,” Taburets wrote.

Debris from the downed drone fell on the territory of the district, damaging eight residential buildings, five utility buildings and a power line. Three people suffered an acute stress reaction, but refused hospitalization.

Repair teams are already working to restore power supply.
