It all happened so suddenly — we didn’t understand anything. At the time of the explosion, I was in the hallway, and my husband was sleeping. Everything in the apartment fell on him. The front door had already been knocked out, but the entrance was blocked. Thank goodness for the rescuers — they unblocked us, and my neighbors and I were able to get out of the house, — said Ms. Lyuba, a resident of the damaged house.

Another resident, Nadiya, recalls: We were asleep. It flew in. The ceiling collapsed. We took the child and ran outside. There are victims, unfortunately — our neighbors, an elderly couple.

At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia reported the death of its employee.

The employee died in his own home as a result of a night attack on the Odessa region, the company reported.
