Devastating shelling of Avdiivka: how the Russians finished off the coke plant

Russian troops staged another attack on Avdiivka on May 16. This time, the object was a local coke-chemical plant and part of the State Emergency Service, which the Russian Federation bombed with aircraft.

This was reported by People’s Deputy Musa Magomedov. He also published a photo of the consequences of the attack: “They hit the Druzhba canteen and the emergency services behind it.” And immediately they fired at the fifth sanitary corps. The buildings were destroyed, it is good that there were no victims. Currently, coke chemists are dismantling the blockages.”

On the morning of May 15, the Russians fired rockets at a hospital in Avdiivka. Four people died as a result.

Vitaliy Barabash, the head of the Avdiivka city military administration, commented on the information about the evacuation of the population due to the worsening of the situation. He doubts that people will be able to be taken out.

It was previously reported that Avdiivka and Maryinka are currently the hottest spots on the Tauriya route. Therefore, they will try to evacuate all civilians from Avdiivka in the near future.
