Dnipropetrovsk region: at night, the Russians hit a community in the Nikopol district with heavy artillery

On the night of January 31, the Russian military shelled the territory of the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. There, the enemy damaged the civilian infrastructure.

This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Mykola Lukashuk.

According to him, at night, the Russian army struck the Myrivsk community in the Nikopol district: “The enemy fired heavy artillery, firing about ten shells,” Lukashuk added.

As a result of shelling, three private residential buildings were damaged. The projectiles also hit two farm buildings and power lines. Currently, the survey of the shelling areas is ongoing.

“People are unharmed. It was quiet in other regions of the region during the night,” assured the head of the regional military administration.

Power outages in the region will continue according to established schedules.

The Russian military set up field hospitals in two maternity homes in temporarily occupied Luhansk. In this regard, it is possible to give birth in the city only in the Luhansk Regional Perinatal Center, where there is a catastrophic lack of places and risks and unfavorable conditions for childbirth are created.

On January 30, France and Australia announced that they would cooperate in a multimillion-dollar project to manufacture “several thousand” artillery shells for Ukraine.

At night, the occupiers fired heavy artillery at the Myrivsk community of Dnipropetrovsk region

At night, the Myriv community came under enemy fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The consequences of the hits are currently being investigated. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, reported on the situation in the region on the morning of January 31.

“At night, the army of the Russian Federation struck the Mirivska community in the Nikopol district. The enemy fired with heavy artillery, firing about ten shells. As a result, three private residential buildings were damaged, two farm buildings and power lines were also affected. Survey of the shelling areas continues. People are unharmed,” Lukashuk said.

Nikopol was under the fire of the occupiers all night

One of the communities of the Nikopol district was shelled non-stop by the occupiers at night.

This was announced by the head of the Nikopol district military administration Yevhena Yevtushenko.

According to the official, during the night, the Russian army, using barrel artillery, shelled the settlement of Mirivska local community.

“Three private residential buildings, two commercial buildings and a power line were damaged. People were not injured,” the head of the district military administration said.

Strike on the Dnipro: 10 victims remain in hospitals, including a child

Ten victims of the Russian attack on the Dnipro on January 14 are still receiving hospital treatment.

We were informed about this in the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.

In total, 80 people were injured as a result of the attack. Currently, nine adults remain in hospitals – 7 women and 2 men – as well as one child – a girl. The condition of all patients is called stable. The rest, who need it, are treated on an outpatient basis.

The regional military administration said that among the injured were four forced migrants who fled the war and found refuge in the Dnipro.

In total, we know about 46 dead, six of them are children. The police reported that they had already identified 40 people. Nine are considered missing. 6 body fragments were also found. The identification process may take several weeks.

Strike on the Dnipro

The explosions in the Dnipro rang out during the massive Russian attack on Ukraine on January 14. the Russians hit an apartment building.

The affected nine-story building had 16 entrances and housed approximately 1,700 residents. Rescue operations lasted 69 consecutive hours. They were completed on January 17. It is known in advance that 72 apartments were destroyed, and more than 230 were damaged.

The city council will allocate one million hryvnias to the affected families in Dnipro for the purchase of housing.

Law enforcement officers are investigating. Thus, the security service of Ukraine has already declared suspicion against the Russian commander who organized the attack on the Dnipro.
