Double missile strike on Balakliya: Kharkiv region rescuers showed the elimination of consequences

In the city of Balakliya, Kharkiv region, the consequences of the Russian missile attack carried out by the Russian Federation on the night of November 17 are being eliminated. As a result of the shelling, three fires broke out in a private house and high-rise buildings. A kindergarten and cars were damaged.

This was reported to the main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

Rescuers and mountain climbers of the State Emergency Service, using special equipment and gear, carried out emergency restoration work, dismantling damaged structures in apartment buildings.

The primary task is to eliminate the emergency so that utility workers and builders can begin home repairs,” the State Emergency Service said.

On November 17, at around 2:00 a.m., the Russian armed forces launched a missile strike on the city of Balakliya. The Russians used two Iskander-M missiles in the attack. Three men were killed. Another 15 people were injured and suffered acute stress reactions. Four children were among the injured: three girls aged 14, 15 and 17, as well as a 12-year-old boy.
