Drone and artillery attacks: Four civilians injured in Kherson region due to Russian shelling

During June 9, 2026, the Russian army hit settlements in the Kherson region with gun and rocket artillery, mortars, and UAVs.

This was reported by the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office.

As of 17:30, it was recorded that four civilians were injured from the consequences of Russian aggression.

At night, a man and a woman were injured by a Russian drone in the village of Chaikine. During the day, another woman was seriously injured in Urozhayne – she fell into the zone of impact of a Russian FPV.

Also in Kherson, an employee of a city utility company was injured as a result of an explosive device.

In addition, private and apartment buildings, an agricultural company, agricultural machinery, and passenger vehicles were damaged.

Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to record the consequences of the shelling and document war crimes committed by the armed formations of the aggressor state.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the facts of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
