Drone attack on enterprises in the Cherkasy region: consequences of the incident

On February 4, 2025, the Cherkasy region was subjected to a large-scale drone attack, causing serious consequences for the region. According to the report of the head of the regional military administration, Igor Taburets, three private enterprises were subjected to shelling, as a result of which fires broke out. Air defense forces destroyed 12 Shahed drones.

The fires at two enterprises were quickly contained, but the third enterprise is still being extinguished. Fortunately, according to preliminary data, there were no injuries.

This incident emphasizes the need to strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure and ensure security in the region. Local services continue to work to eliminate the consequences of the attack and restore normal operations of enterprises.
