Drone attack on Kyiv and the region on September 30: casualty figures released

On September 30, Russian forces launched another drone attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Three people died in the capital, and seven others were injured. Five people were injured in the Kyiv region.

In Kyiv, police are documenting the aftermath of the attack in the Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Pecherskyi, Podilskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district, two women—aged 46 and 95—died after a drone struck a private house. Three women and a man in neighboring buildings were injured by the blast wave.

Another person died in the Solomianskyi district; a worker at a local business sustained fatal injuries from a drone strike. Two other people were injured.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a State Emergency Service rescuer was injured while responding to the attack; he had arrived to assist people and was caught in a secondary strike.

Private homes, a bathhouse, unfinished buildings, vehicles, and other infrastructure facilities in the capital were damaged. Investigative teams, bomb disposal experts, rescuers, and other specialized services are working at the sites.

At the same time, the Kyiv region is also under attack. In Brovary, two cars, a garage, and solar panels were damaged, and four people were injured. A private house was also damaged in one of the region’s districts.

In the Obukhiv district, a supermarket was damaged in the attack; rescuers extinguished a fire covering an area of ​​250 square meters. One person was injured.

Police officers from Kyiv and the Kyiv region continue to work at the scenes and document the aftermath of the attack. An air raid alert remains in effect for Kyiv and the region.
