
On the night of June 1, the city was attacked by drones, as a result of which 5 people were injured, 2 of whom were hospitalized. 2 people received medical assistance at the scene, and one person refused hospitalization.
The attack caused significant damage. Apartment buildings, administrative buildings, and infrastructure were damaged in various districts of Odesa. According to preliminary data, 82 windows were broken, 72 of which are already closed. The drone hit a nine-story residential building, partially destroying the first and second floors. The facade and balconies of the building were also damaged.
Work continues at the scene to eliminate the consequences and restore damaged buildings. Operational headquarters are working to coordinate actions. As noted by the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak:
«Apartment buildings in various districts of the city, administrative buildings, and infrastructure were damaged. According to preliminary data, 82 windows were broken, 72 of which have already been closed. Work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and restore damaged buildings».
The situation in Odesa reflects the general tension in the region, where regular drone attacks are becoming the norm.
