Drones attack Zhytomyr region: outpatient clinic, house, and energy infrastructure damaged

Overnight into October 25, the Zhytomyr region was once again targeted by enemy drones. Damage was reported in the Korosten and Zhytomyr districts.

According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr region, the attack damaged an energy infrastructure facility, an outpatient clinic, a residential house, and a private business.

Fires broke out at the impact sites of the attack drones; emergency responders have since extinguished them.

Following the firefighting operations, the areas are being inspected for any remaining explosive remnants.

According to the latest update from the SES this morning, there are no casualties or injuries.

This is not the first attack on the region’s energy infrastructure in recent days. On October 23, following Russian strikes, more than 900 settlements in the Zhytomyr region were left without electricity, and private homes were also damaged.
