Peaceful residents who remained to live in the territories temporarily occupied by the Russians do not cooperate with them. The level of collaboration is currently low. Even those who immediately started cooperating with the Russians are now leaving the occupation because they understand that they were misled.
Ivan Fedorov, the chairman of Melitopol, announced this.
In order to cover the shortage of personnel, the Russian pseudo-government is transporting people en masse to the temporarily occupied Melitopol. According to local residents, we are talking about tens of thousands of Russians who currently work as fake prosecutors, police officers, and teachers. It is from these people that commissions will be formed in order to organize pseudo-elections.
“We know examples of people coming from Chuvashia, Krasnodar Krai, and even from Siberia. The teachers are brought from Dagestan and they even speak Russian quite difficultly. It is not clear why they can teach children in occupation schools,” Fedorov said.
According to the chairman, Russians come to the temporarily occupied territories because the occupation authorities pay higher wages. For example, in annexed Crimea, a doctor receives 20,000 rubles, and in temporarily occupied Melitopol, he can be paid up to 100,000 rubles.
“Secondly, those who have debts to the bank, problems with the law and all other uncharitable sections of the population are fleeing from the continental Russian Federation. They flee to the temporarily occupied territories, trying to protect themselves from the guilt they have,” says Fedorov.
