During the day, the occupiers shelled the Zaporizhzhia region 153 times: civilian objects were damaged

Russian occupation forces continue to terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine. In just one day, the enemy attacked the Zaporizhzhia region 153 times, as a result of which the civilian infrastructure was damaged.

Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this.

The army of the aggressor country is increasing the intensity of shelling of the Zaporizhzhia region. Thus, during the day of January 18, the occupiers shelled 17 settlements in the region. So far, 28 reports of destruction have been recorded.

“By launching all types of weapons, including incendiary projectiles prohibited by international law, at civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, the occupier is deliberately committing war crimes,” the head of the Regional Military Administration emphasized.

According to him, the sound that shook the regional center in the middle of the night is enemy fire aimed at the Matviyiv community. The occupiers note that they have hit an extremely important strategic object. But the S-300 rocket fell in the field, its explosion blew out all the windows in the local educational institution and nearby buildings.

Fortunately, there were no casualties among the civilian population.

It is known that on January 17, the Zaporizhzhia region experienced a record 171 shellings. During the day, the occupiers shelled 26 settlements in the region. In addition, violating all the rules of warfare, the enemy used incendiary ammunition.

Residents of Zaporizhzhia heard the sounds of explosions: Russian troops launched a missile attack on the suburbs

January 19, the Russian army launched a missile attack on the Matviyiv community of the Zaporizhzhia district.

This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Starukh.

“The sound that shook the regional center in the middle of the night is enemy fire aimed at the Matviiv community. As the occupier will point out in his false summaries, he aimed at an extremely important strategic object. But the S-300 rocket fell in the field, its explosion blew out all the windows in the local educational institution and nearby buildings. Fortunately, there were no victims,” the head of the region said.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, 17 of our settlements survived 153 enemy attacks. So far, 28 reports of destruction have been recorded.

“The occupier is deliberately committing war crimes, using all types of weapons against civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, in particular, incendiary projectiles prohibited by international law,” said Oleksandr Starukh.

In Energodar, the occupiers seized all educational institutions and utility companies

Under the guise of energy donors, the invaders are trying to protect their troops in the event of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the occupied Energodar of the Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian invaders seized educational institutions and communal enterprises, and in the basements of high-rise buildings they made ammunition warehouses. This was announced by the city mayor Dmytro Orlov.

According to the chairman of Energodar, the occupiers took the keys from technical workers of educational institutions and utility companies. “If the person who takes care of the premises does not want to cooperate, and the absolute majority of them do, then the occupiers say: ‘Then we will install our locks and arrange something of our own here,'” Orlov said.

The chairman also noted that the Russian military began to be stationed in the basements of high-rise buildings, which were turned into warehouses with ammunition. “Such cases are not unique. Hiding behind the backs of civilians, the occupiers have made warehouses with ammunition and are occupying certain territories, placing their personnel there,” Orlov said.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian occupiers are preparing for the defense of the city of Energodar, setting up barracks and warehouses with ammunition in the basements of residential buildings.

It is also known about the presence of a large amount of explosives in the building of the communication hub near the city executive committee.

Without money, work and medicine: how people live in occupied Berdyansk

Residents of the resort town of Berdyansk have been living under occupation for 10 months.

Lack of money, lack of work, medicine and usual medical and other services – these are the realities of life in the occupation.

– I wouldn’t have believed it if someone had told me that I would miss ATB so much. Today, I remember with nostalgia Ukrainian products from our supermarkets. Not far from our house was the ATB supermarket, which the occupiers have now “squeezed out” and placed their “Mera” in it, all products in which are insanely expensive and absolutely tasteless, as if they were made of cardboard. My children used to love chocolate curds, but now they don’t even ask for them, – writes a resident of Berdyanska, mother of two children.

Even connoisseurs of spirits are disappointed with the quality of Russian strong.

– Some of my acquaintances stopped drinking alcohol altogether, even beer, because it is of terrible quality, everything is Russian, and there is no imported, or it is too expensive. In Ukraine, we often went to drink beer with our colleagues on Fridays, but now with Russian beer it is a punishment, not a pleasure, so we decided to refuse until the return of Ukraine, – said the resident of Berdyansk.

Strangely enough, despite the danger of any manifestation of Ukrainian self-awareness, the Ukrainian language can be heard more and more often in the city.

– They think that if many people in Berdyansk speak Russian, it means that they want to be Russian. Delirious! By the way, the more time passes after the invasion, the more people switch to the Ukrainian language. Even those who always spoke Russian. Being trapped, under occupation, people want to be closer to Ukraine, if only in this way, – says the retired woman, a resident of the city.

Meanwhile, the payments that the occupiers initially paid to holders of Ukrainian passports are being gradually replaced from the new year with others, for which a Russian passport and the so-called SNILS (Russian insurance number) are already required.

– My son-in-law is unemployed and is constantly looking for something to work for ordinary people, but not for the Rashists, but it is very difficult to find such a job.

The occupiers have a channel of the employment center in Telegram, where they publish vacancies. Recently, the mandatory presence of a Russian passport appears increasingly among the conditions, – wrote a pensioner from Berdyansk.

But the most important thing is that, having lived in such conditions for 10 months, the people of Berdyan did not learn to dream, they did not learn to love their city and their country.

The city lives by the expectation of liberation, faith in liberation, and only this faith saves people from despair.

In Zaporozhzhіe, the Rashists are exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in order to force people to get Russian passports

Without a Russian passport, people are blocked from issuing funds and threatened with eviction from their apartments.

In order to fulfill the requirements for the passporting of the temporarily occupied territories, the Russians began to exacerbate the humanitarian crisis. They are trying to block the withdrawal of hryvnias from Ukrainian cards as much as possible. We are talking about people who receive pensions and social benefits. When withdrawing hryvnias, intermediaries charge 15-20%. In order to further displace the hryvnia, the Russians banned it “officially” from January 1. after which small business raids began.

In the absence of the hryvnia, the occupiers force people to take payments from the Russian Federation. We are talking about 4,000 and 10,000 rubles. And you can get them only if you have a Russian passport.

However, in many settlements in the Temporarily Occupied Territories, payments from the Russian Federation have long been limited, and in fact they have been stolen. However, pensioners are forced to stand in queues for handouts from the Russians, because they are threatened with confiscation of their homes for non-payment of utilities.

In general, prices for Temporarily Occupied Territories are highly inflated, and humanitarian aid is distributed in a limited way, giving priority to holders of Russian passports.

Mortality among the civilian population is increasing in Melitopol

The Russians are re-equipping hospitals in captured cities to treat their wounded soldiers. In Melitopol, hospitals even occupy administrative buildings of enterprises.

According to the Center of National Resistance, a similar situation is observed in many medical institutions captured by the Russian army.

In order to provide medical aid to their wounded soldiers, the Russians systematically send medics from Russia to the occupied territories. So, a group of 30 doctors came to Mykhailo multidisciplinary hospital of Zaporizhzhіa region.

It is also reported that an order was issued in the occupied settlements of Ukraine to provide medical services to priority Russian servicemen. This trend applies, in particular, to emergency care.

In particular, it is almost impossible to call an ambulance in Melitopol.

“Therefore, in the temporarily occupied regions, the situation is critical against the background of the aggravation of the epidemiological situation and the humanitarian crisis in general. The mortality rate among the civilian population is increasing significantly,” the Center of National Resistance said in a publication.

The Center of National Resistance urged Ukrainians to leave Russian-occupied settlements to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

In the Melitopol district, the occupiers continue to rob residents: they even take away carpets

In the village of Voznesenka, Melitopol district, Russian soldiers took a liking to the houses of believers. They say that they differ from others in that they are more prosperous – tall, made of white and red brick. Behind the houses in the wasteland, the military has equipped a shooting range for training and regularly arrange shooting ranges.

Looting continues in the village of Novomykolaivka, Tokmacki district, 40 km from Melitopol. According to local residents, the rotation of Russian soldiers stationed in their village has begun. But they decided not to leave the village empty-handed. Literally everything was taken out of the houses that local residents had previously left after leaving the occupation:

“He forbade us to leave the house. The curfew lasted for 4 days. And they robbed themselves. Walls, chests of drawers, even floor tracks and carpets were dragged from the house of a neighbor who had left earlier and loaded into cars. It’s scary to watch. And you won’t say anything to them. You have no idea how difficult it is in the occupation. No plans for tomorrow. We live one day at a time. There is no work, products in the store are expensive. It’s good that we live in the village at least from the household economy. Yesterday I took 100 g of chocolates. There is no more money. Well, like chocolate. This is just the name. The stuffing is disgusting. And they cost 650 rubles per kilo,” shares the anonymous resident of the village.

According to her, there is no Ukrainian television in the village. And on their TV channels they spin such nonsense. They already say that Ukraine is full of Negroes, Frenchmen, and Englishmen. In neighboring villages, the occupiers began a total check of telephones. If earlier houses were searched during the day, now searches are conducted even at night. All calls from Russian cellular numbers are intercepted. Therefore, residents try to communicate through Telegram, Viber, Signal and other applications.
