During the full-scale war, the Russians destroyed 214 medical facilities and damaged more than 1,600.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the government meeting: “During the full-scale war, the Russians destroyed 214 medical facilities and damaged more than 1,600. Their sole purpose is to bring death and destruction. Our goal is to restore life and restore. Over the past 2 years, 880 medical facilities have been completely or partially restored, and this work is ongoing.”

Shmyhal emphasized that the attack on “Okhmatdyt” is part of the systematic shelling carried out by Russia in relation to the medical infrastructure of Ukraine. He reminded that one building of the hospital was completely destroyed, four were seriously damaged. The head of government added that there are wounded and dead people – doctors and children.

“President Volodymyr Zelenskyі set the task of finding a location for the relocation of doctors and small patients from destroyed and damaged buildings as soon as possible. Such locations have already been found. These are Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospitals No. 1 and No. 2. We provide the relevant mandate to start the move. It is important that the children receive all the necessary medical services in the new place,” he said.
