On January 18, as a result of a Russian ballistic attack in Kyiv, a McDonald’s fast food restaurant at the Lukyanivka metro station was damaged by missile debris. This is the first establishment that opened in Ukraine back in 1997.
The restaurant quickly gained popularity among locals and became a popular place to eat fast food. The opening of McDonald’s in Ukraine was a sign of the development of global brands in the country and the growth of interest in Western culture.
