After the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, more than 4.4 thousand residential high-rise buildings and almost 3.7 thousand private houses were damaged as a result of Russian shelling in Kharkiv. This was reported by the chairman Igor Terekhov.
He said that recently Kharkiv has been suffering from attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles. They do not cause such large-scale destruction as missiles and “Shahed”, but people still suffer.
“There is no district in Kharkiv that the Russians have not shelled. In October, we had 400 damaged houses, and in November, which has not yet ended, 144 high-rise buildings and 22 private houses. Heating, water and electricity have been restored in houses where possible. The city authorities are doing everything possible to ensure people a normal life in their homes,” the mayor noted.
