At least 627 Ukrainian children have died since the start of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The department noted that May 25 is the International Day of Missing Children.
“Information about 2,248 children has been entered into the Register of Persons Missing in Special Circumstances. As a result of Russian war crimes, 627 children died, 1,949 were injured. Almost 20,000 more were deported and/or forcibly displaced,” the report says.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs called on the police to report the facts of the forced displacement of children to the territory of Russia or to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. And in the event of family ties with the missing children, it is necessary to submit DNA.
