As a result of Russian shelling on October 7, electricity, water and gas were partially lost in the Poltava region, as well as damaged residential buildings.
According to Kateryna Yamshchykova, 12 houses damaged as a result of the attack were recorded in the Poltava community. Water supply, gas supply and water restoration have been restored to all houses. In one house, power engineers are working to restore electricity supply.
As reported by the acting head of the Poltava regional military administration, Volodymyr Kohut, as of 10:00 in the Poltava district, 160 household and 28 legal consumers remain without electricity.
About 1,000 subscribers are without water supply.
In addition, 1,188 subscribers remain without gas supply in the Lokhvytsky district as a result of the attack on October 3.
According to the acting mayor of Poltava, Kateryna Yamshchykova, damage to eight buildings by the blast wave was previously recorded in the Poltava community: six apartment buildings and two private ones, 70 windows were damaged.
One apartment building remains without electricity, and energy workers are working to restore it.
Roofs and territory are being inspected.
66 specialists and 4 units of equipment from municipal and social services, the Department of Civil Protection, the Central Emergency Service, and the Poltava district council were involved in the elimination of the consequences.
The Poltava city council’s rapid response headquarters is working, and people are being provided with materials for temporarily closing broken windows.
