
On April 16, the Russian military shelled settlements in the Kherson region with artillery, mortars, and drones. Eight people were injured in the attacks.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
All the injured were residents of Kherson. Five were injured by drone strikes. Two more were injured by artillery fire. A police officer was also injured.
The prosecutor’s office opened a pre-trial investigation into these facts under the article on war crimes.
Private and apartment buildings, an administrative building, warehouses, and cars were damaged as a result of the shelling.
