Employees of Zaporizhzhіa NPP are beaten in front of their colleagues

Since March 2022, the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant has been occupied by Russian troops. Employees of the largest power plant in Europe are working under intense pressure all this time.

This was announced by Herman Galushchenko, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine.

Russians kidnap and torture station employees. Russians also resort to physical violence against individual employees in front of their colleagues.

The equipment of the station is also degrading, this is seen by experts of the IAEA mission who are at the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.

At the same time, Herman Galushchenko noted that they know the names of all Rosatom employees who work at the captured Zaporizhzhia NPP on a rotating basis.

“For Rosatom employees, this is the worst business trip, because they understand that the fact of their presence at the station, even short-term, is already included in the sanctions list. However, the issue is even bigger than sanctions – they will be the subjects of a criminal investigation,” he added.
