Environmentalists spoke about significant destruction in one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia: the consequences of the night attack on August 11

Russian shelling on the night of August 11 caused significant destruction in the Vozneseniv district of Zaporizhzhia.

On the night of August 11, the Russians hit Zaporizhzhia with North Korean ballistics, zircons, and anti-tank missiles. The Russian military directed 10 missiles at the city. As a result of the Russian attack on August 11, six people died.

According to the report of the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, 22 residents were injured after the shelling. Of these, 20 people were hospitalized with blast injuries, contusions, shrapnel wounds and fractures. Three of them are in serious condition. Two injured people are being treated at home after receiving medical aid.

Four apartment buildings, non-residential buildings, garages were damaged.

On August 11, employees of the ecoinspection inspected the territory after the Russian attack in the Vozneseniv district and found that more than 5,000 m² of debris littered the area.

A hole with an area of ​​64 m² was formed at the point of impact. Environmentalists took soil samples to conduct laboratory tests.

The relevant materials are drawn up, which will be handed over to law enforcement agencies and the Operational Headquarters of the State Inspectorate of Ukraine.

As a result, the amount of damage caused to the environment as a result of Russia’s armed aggression will be determined.
