Explosions heard in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region, a column of smoke above the city

On the morning of July 6, during an air raid alert due to an attack by Russian drones, explosions were heard in Kremenchuk, Poltava region. A fire then broke out on the territory of a private household.

This was reported by the acting head of the Poltava regional military administration, Volodymyr Kohut. He urged citizens not to ignore air raid signals.

“All relevant services are working at the scene. As of this moment, there have been no calls to emergency services regarding the injured or dead,” the official said at 10:08.

At the same time, local media reported that a column of smoke was visible after the attack in Kremenchuk.

Residents of the city report that they survived the attack. Some emphasized that they were lucky: in some buildings near the explosion sites, only plaster from the ceiling fell.
