Explosions in Dnipro: regional military administration reports details

On September 17, a series of explosions were heard in Dnipro and its suburbs. The Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration shared the first details.

According to information from the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, fires broke out in the Dnipro district as a result of a drone attack. All necessary services are currently working on the scene. The consequences are being clarified.

At 17:16, during the air raid, residents of Dnipro heard the first explosion. The drone attack lasted until about 18:20. According to preliminary information, air defense forces were working.

After the explosions, a column of smoke rose over the city.

As of 18:30, the city is calm, the air raid has been canceled.

The Dnipro is regularly attacked by various types of missiles and drones. The city is being shelled with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, kamikaze drones and artillery. These attacks are aimed at both civilian infrastructure (energy facilities, residential buildings) and industrial facilities.

There were also loud explosions in several districts of the region.

The Russians attacked Nikopol region with artillery and drones. The district center, Marhanetska, Myrivska, Pokrovska and Chervonogrygorivska communities were hit. A high-rise building, 7 private houses, cars, infrastructure, a supermarket, a grocery store and a post office were damaged.

In the Synelnyk district, explosions were heard in Mezhivska and Pokrovska communities. The Russians used guided aerial bombs and UAVs. Fires broke out in two private households and at an agricultural enterprise. A car and a gas pipeline were damaged.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, Russians fired an FPV drone at the Zelenodolsk community.
