Farmers of the occupied Kherson region are in the debt trap of the Russians

Agrarians from the Kakhov region are forced by the Russians and their collaborators to cooperate with the Belarusians. In particular, they “offer” to borrow or lease Belarusian-made agricultural machinery. This was reported by deputy-collaborator from Novaya Kakhovka Oleksandr Shevchenko in an interview with a pro-Russian TV channel.

He also spoke about “special preferential conditions, which are better than for farmers in Russia, and therefore there are already applications for more than 80 units of equipment.”

However, there is not a single word about the mined territories and agricultural lands, dug by trenches and other engineering structures of the Russian military.

Oleksandr Shevchenko also said that water for irrigation will be provided free of charge. But again, the condition of the Main Pumping Station of the Kakhovsky Main Canal is not suitable for work.

The dismantling and removal of modern production lines at the Chumak plant (Kakhovka) shows how well the Russians are “developing” the agricultural sector of the occupied Kherson region.

At first, they wanted to resume production at the captured capacities, but because of the automated protection system, nothing happened. Therefore, they decided to simply take out everything they could.

We will remind that the main supervisor of the farmers is Eduard Repilevskyi, the owner of the company “Agrobusiness”, who agreed to cooperate with the occupiers and re-registered his business in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
