The Russian “authority” of the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region once again informed about its intentions regarding the development of “resort recreation” in this region.
Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reports that similar initiatives of the occupation administrations in the temporarily occupied territories have a rather fairy-tale appearance, as they are in fact only a “showcase” intended for the Kremlin authorities and the active infusion of Moscow’s narratives “into the brains” of the electorate of the Russian Federation.
According to Fedorov, the Russians are deliberately lying about the possibility of accommodating “two million tourists” from the Russian Federation, because they ignored or “forgot” several very important clarifications:
Most of the hotels and recreation centers in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia are used to house the “manpower” of the Russian army, and “guest workers” from Central Asia were placed in guest houses;
During the summer season of 2023, the occupancy rate of recreation centers in the temporarily occupied territories was no more than 10;
Many tourist bases were looted by the “liberators” themselves, and the infrastructure was left in a neglected state.
