Fire breaks out at one of Zaporizhzhia’s industrial enterprises due to Russian attack

A fire broke out at one of Zaporizhzhia’s industrial enterprises due to a Russian attack on the night of June 16, the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported at night.

According to preliminary data, no people were injured. Emergency services are working on the scene.

At around 2:00 on June 16, an air alert was declared in the Zaporizhzhia region, which lasted about 1.5 hours.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – strike UAVs, missiles, guided aerial bombs, MLRS.

The Russian leadership denies that the Russian army, during a full-scale war, is carrying out targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Ukrainian cities and villages, killing civilians and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted in nature.
