Fired with missiles, drones and artillery: what is known about the dead and injured in Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol region

On June 12, the Russians dealt another blow to the Dnipropetrovsk region. Nikopol region was once again under the crosshairs, which was subjected to severe shelling from kamikaze drones and artillery. Kryvyi Rih was also hit by rockets. Unfortunately, the number of dead and injured continues to increase there, writes “Nashe Misto” with reference to Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipro Oblast Military Administration.

During the day, the Russians made almost two dozen attacks on the district center, Marganetska, Mirivska, Pokrovska village and Chervonogrigorivska communities. As a result of the shelling, a 17-year-old boy was injured, who received multiple shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.

In addition, the Russians caused significant damage to the infrastructure and the housing sector. Six private houses, several farm buildings, two five-story buildings, five cars and one minibus were damaged. A garage, two outbuildings and a country house were also damaged, where a fire broke out, which was later extinguished by rescuers. The power line was also damaged.

A 17-year-old boy was injured as a result of shelling in Nikopol. He had shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized in a moderate condition.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko said that the number of dead has increased to eight. Earlier it was reported that six people died. At the same time, it is known about 21 wounded, among them two children. Four more people are considered missing.

Klymenko reminded that the rocket attack was carried out on a residential building.

The search operation is ongoing. Employees of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, communal services, and volunteers are doing everything possible to save as many people as possible. Cynologists with search dogs and psychologists are working at the scene, the minister noted.

Unfortunately, this is not the first case of shelling of Nikopolshchyna by Russian troops. The Russians regularly attack peaceful towns and villages in the region, causing significant destruction and killing people.

Also, on the evening of June 12, the Russians attacked Kryvyi Rih, firing a rocket at the residential sector. As of now, it is known about 8 dead. At least 21 people were injured. Another 4 people are considered missing.

Currently, the search operation continues.
