Firefighters in Sumy region came under Russian shelling

On January 13, rescuers of the State Emergency Service came under repeated Russian shelling while extinguishing a fire in Sumy region.

According to the press service of the State Emergency Service, Russian troops attacked one of the settlements of the Konotop district, which caused a private house to catch fire.

While rescuers were working at the scene, the Russians launched another strike on the nearby area. The firefighters were able to quickly withdraw, and fortunately, none of them were injured. After the security situation normalized, the fire was extinguished.
