Fires broke out in Zhytomyr region as a result of the massive Russian attack

On July 9, during the massive Russian attack in Zhytomyr region, the production facilities of a carpentry shop and outbuildings were damaged.

The windows of two multi-storey residential buildings were also damaged, the regional military administration reported.

“One of the fires that arose due to Russian strikes was extinguished by the State Emergency Service units,” wrote the head of the Zhytomyr regional military administration, Vitaliy Bunechko.

The second fire is currently localized, and its elimination is ongoing.

“Fortunately, according to preliminary data, no one was injured as a result of the events. Let’s hold the line! Thank you to the air defense forces,” Bunechko added.
