According to the Sumy regional military administration, there were 595 shellings of civilian areas in the Sumy region last week, April 30-May 5.
This is less than the week before, when there were 650 shellings. On average, in March there were about 600 shellings per week.
Despite the decrease in attacks, five civilians were killed from April 30 to May 5, compared to three a week earlier. There were 17 victims in March. There were 87 wounded in a week. Most of them during a massive night attack on Sumy on the night of April 4. A week earlier, there were 32 wounded.
A week ago, 67 people were evacuated from dangerous areas (291 the week before last).
Infrastructure also suffered last week. Private and multi-story buildings, educational and medical institutions, energy, cars, and enterprises were again under attack. “Shaheeds”, smaller UAVs, guided aerial bombs, and missiles attack the border areas daily, burning everything around.
