For the first time this autumn, on the night of October 12, several infrastructure facilities were attacked in the region. One of them feeds one of the CHP plants. Fires broke out on the spot, they were extinguished quickly, the work of the gas distribution system did not stop.
As of February 3, 2023, 29 settlements in the region remained under occupation, the regional military administration reported.

“On the night of October 12, the Russians struck again with drones. Damage to the gas transportation infrastructure was recorded in Kharkiv region. In particular, the industrial site of the gas distribution station, which feeds the thermal power plant, was damaged. It was also recorded that the debris of a downed drone fell on the industrial site of another state power station in the city, the nature of the damage is being clarified. Fires in both areas projects were localized, the work of the gas distribution station did not stop,” the Ministry of Energy reported.
At night, due to hitting one of the objects, a fire started at a gas stove in the Kharkiv district. The flaming trunk was visible from several settlements. Later, the head of the Solonytsiv village council reported that consumers may be without gas in the village for some time.
The Russians also attacked a power line in Odesa region with drones last night.
