Forced evacuation of three settlements has been announced in the Sumy region

Mandatory evacuation of three settlements of Shostkinsky district was introduced in Sumy region. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Sumy region.

“Mandatory evacuation of three settlements has been announced in Shostky district: Glukhova, Svesy, and Esmani. The main issues of the first stage were discussed at an on-site meeting of the evacuation coordination headquarters,” the message reads.

It is worth noting that as of September 7, 242 people were evacuated from the respective territories.

Currently, the communities are working on clarifying the lists of the population that they plan to evacuate.
