Foreign media report on the increased presence of China in the occupied territories of Ukraine

Foreign media report on the increased presence of Chinese companies and structures in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. According to journalists, this concerns the participation of individual Chinese businesses in projects that the Russian authorities are trying to implement in the occupied regions, in particular in the areas of construction, logistics and equipment supply.

The materials note that such activity is taking place despite international reservations about cooperation with Russian structures operating in the occupied territories. Analysts believe that Beijing can use these regions as an additional economic platform, although China’s official statements on this issue remain restrained.

The Ukrainian side emphasizes that any participation of foreign companies in projects in the occupied territories is a violation of international law and may have consequences for such companies in the future.
