Four injured, fires and destruction: consequences of shelling of Kharkiv region

Four people were injured in the Kharkiv region from Russian shelling.

This was reported by the communications department of the main department of the national police in the Kharkiv region.

According to police, on April 12, the Russians attacked settlements in the Bogodukhiv and Kupyansky districts. The Russian troops used various types of UAVs and guided aerial bombs.

Due to the shelling of the Velyky Burluk community, two outbuildings, a garage and the roof of a residential building in the village of Ploske were on fire. In the village of Velyky Burluk, a garage burned down, and another hit hit the ground.

On the night of April 13, the Russians hit a UAV into a residential building in Bogodukhiv. Households, utility rooms, a car, a moped and a tractor were also damaged. A 57-year-old man sought help from doctors. He suffered an acute stress reaction.

The Russian military also attacked the village of Zolochiv and the entire community with drones. Local residents were injured. A 32-year-old man received burns, a 63-year-old woman 63 received an acute stress reaction. The roof of a store, the fence of a private house, an administrative building and a private car were damaged.

A 70-year-old man was injured in an attack by an FPV drone on a passenger car in the village of Lyutivka, Zolochiv community. He was taken to the hospital.

In the village of Klynova-Novoselivka, private houses were destroyed, household buildings and power grids were damaged.

Three private houses were damaged as a result of shelling of the village of Svitlychne.

On April 12, police officers conducted 11 inspections of the scene of the incident and entered information on six criminal proceedings related to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, investigators in the Kharkiv region have entered information on 29,390 war crimes committed in the region into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.
