Four people injured in UAV strike in Kharkiv region

On the evening of August 16, the Russians hit a private house in the village of Vilshany in the Kharkiv region with a drone. Four people were injured as a result of the attack.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

It is noted that a 49-year-old man, his 46-year-old wife, 19-year-old daughter and a 76-year-old relative were injured as a result of the attack. All of them suffered acute stress reactions. The strike also damaged the house and garage.

The type of drone used by the Russians to carry out the attack is currently being established.

Law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation into the fact of committing a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

They hit a cemetery and residential buildings: the consequences of the shelling of the Kharkiv region

Russian troops continue shelling of the Kharkiv region. During August 16–17, at least five civilians were injured in Russian attacks.

According to the investigation, on August 16, at around 6:00 p.m., the Russians launched an airstrike on the village of Nova Kozacha, Kharkiv District. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. A 70-year-old local resident suffered an acute stress reaction.

On August 17, at around 8:00 a.m., the Russian army shelled Kupyansk with artillery. A 43-year-old man was injured.
