The Russians continue to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities. So, on April 7, Russian troops once again attacked Kharkiv.
On the afternoon of April 7, Kharkiv was under Russian missile fire. Chairman Ihor Terekhov spoke about the consequences of the Russian attack.
Consequences of the Russian attack
Chairman Ihor Terekhov noted that the Russians struck the center of Kharkiv, as well as the Industrial District.
According to him, there were anti-aircraft missiles in the middle of the city, and according to explosives experts, there were two S-300 rockets in the Industrial District.
As a result, garages were destroyed, windows were broken in residential buildings in the central part of the city, and a private house in the central part of the city was completely crushed. As for the Industrial district, a fire broke out at one of the production enterprises. In addition, the blast wave damaged many windows of private houses of Kharkiv residents, – said the chairman.
“The situation is difficult with regard to voltage and electricity supply. Very strict blackout schedules have been introduced and there is not enough electricity, so critical infrastructure has been requested. As for residential buildings, it is provided according to schedules, but the schedules are often not met, because there is simply not enough voltage,” Terekhov added.
In addition, the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office added that Russian troops from the Belgorod region shelled the central part of Kharkiv. It was noted there that the Russians, as on Saturday, April 6, used a unified interspecies planing munition of 30 centimeters caliber. It was these 2 munitions that hit the yard of a residential building in the Shevchenkiv district, 80 meters from the entrance to the Central Recreation Park, where many local residents, namely children, were at that time.
They added that as a result of this aerial bombardment, 5 multi-story residential buildings, about 10 garages and seven civilian vehicles have been damaged so far. In addition, three civilians sought medical help from doctors – two women and one man.
