Gas infrastructure facilities attacked at night: Ukrainians urged to save gas

On October 15, the Russians again carried out a large-scale combined attack on gas infrastructure facilities.

This was reported by Naftogaz.

Civilian facilities that provide Ukrainians with gas and heat were attacked with dozens of missiles, including ballistic ones, and hundreds of Shahed drones.

Unfortunately, there are victims. Four of our colleagues are currently receiving assistance. There are hits and destruction in several regions at once. The work of a number of critically important facilities has been suspended. Our specialists are immediately starting to eliminate the consequences, – said Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

This is the sixth massive attack on gas infrastructure since the beginning of October. Such attacks directly affect the volumes of its own gas production, which the company is forced to partially compensate for through imports.

I appeal to everyone to be as economical as possible with gas consumption. Every economical cubic meter matters. There is strength to cope with this. Thank you to everyone who helps,” said Serhiy Koretsky.
