Genocide of Ukrainian People: Russian Invaders Push the City of Mariupol on the Edge of Humanitarian Disaster

Over the past 7 days and nights, Russian occupants deliberately demolish the critical infrastructure of the city with a population of 431 thousand of people, who are now cut off of electricity, water supply and heating. Civilians hide from indiscriminate heavy shelling in basements, underground vaults, cellars and air-raid shelters. Russian invaders have already destroyed the railway connection, bridges and trains in Mariupol, which makes the evacuation of women, children and old men from the besieged city impossible at this point. On top of that, the Russian army refuses to create a humanitarian green corridor blocking any attempts to rescue civilians and deliver food and water into Mariupol.

The Mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boychenko states that Mariupol keeps suffering from constant indiscriminate shelling. Women, children and old people are getting killed by the Russian war criminals this very moment. Ukrainians are being slaughtered as a nation. These hypocrites came to our land to “rescue” the Russian-speaking population of Mariupol, but ended up killing Ukrainians regardless of their ethnic origin and the language they speak. People of Mariupol of Russian, Ukrainian, Greek and other decent are getting killed by the Russian army ex all, states the City Mayor.
