High-rise buildings and cars damaged: consequences of Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia region on April 18

On April 18, the Russian army launched strikes on 44 cities and villages of Zaporizhzhia, Polohiv and Vasyliv districts, as well as Zaporizhzhia, using aircraft, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and drones.

This was reported by the National Police of Zaporizhzhia region.

In total, the Russians launched 756 strikes on the region over the course of 24 hours on April 18. In particular, the Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. As a result of this attack, a 20-year-old boy was injured.

As a result of the Russian strikes, destruction was recorded. Russian shelling damaged private and apartment buildings, infrastructure facilities and cars of civilians.

Law enforcement officers opened proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 438 “War crimes” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Last day, law enforcement officers evacuated two women with three children aged one month, 2 and 11 from Trudove.
