High-rise buildings destroyed: consequences of Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia region on August 31

During August 31, the Russians carried out strikes on Zaporizhzhia region using aircraft, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and drones. In total, Russian troops carried out 591 strikes on the region.

20 cities and villages of Zaporizhzhia, Polohiv and Vasylivka districts were under enemy fire yesterday. As a result of Russian strikes on frontline settlements, 57 reports of destruction were recorded. As a result of Russian attacks, apartment buildings and private houses, house plots and people’s cars were damaged and destroyed.

In addition, on August 31, the Russians attacked Preobrazhenka with an FPV drone. As a result of the strike, a 66-year-old woman was injured. She was provided with the necessary assistance.

The Russian army troops launched another strike on the Polohiv district. The Russians struck the village of Omelnyk from aircraft.

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, on September 1.

The Russians launched a strike with guided aerial bombs on the village. As a result of this attack, the houses of civilians were destroyed.

A couple died in one of the destroyed houses. They were both 64 years old.

As a reminder, yesterday the Russians struck Preobrazhenka in the Polohiv district. A 66-year-old woman was injured.
