Hitting drones in a residential building in Vinnytsia region: the prosecutor’s office has started an investigation

The Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor’s Office has started an investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war by the Russian Federation. The reason for the investigation was the March 14 attack by Russian drones on a private house in Vinnytsia region, as a result of which two people died. This was reported by the press service of the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, on March 14, 2024, around 22:00, the Russian military attacked the Vinnytsia region with unmanned aerial vehicles.

Two UAVs hit the private residential sector.

In the Vinnytsia district, a Russian attack killed a married couple aged 52 and 53, their son was hospitalized.

In the Tulchyn district, two teenagers, 17 and 18 years old, were injured as a result of a drone strike, and they were also hospitalized.

In accordance with the order of the deputy mayor, in order to honor the memory of those who died as a result of the night air attack, March 15-16, 2024 was declared the Days of Mourning in the Nemyrivsk City Territorial Community.

The investigation and operational group of the regional headquarters and the local police worked at the sites of the Russian hits.

The policemen provided the necessary assistance to citizens, recorded the consequences of the Russian attack, collected evidence of the Russian war crime and, together with the rescuers, dismantled the debris. Currently, law enforcement officers are providing security at the scene.
