Hospitals, hotels and universities: the consequences of an enemy attack on the center of Kharkiv

Around 10:45 p.m. on September 20, the Russian army carried out three strikes with guided aerial bombs on different districts of Kharkiv.

One of the arrivals arrived in the Shevchenkiv district, in the very center of the city. An aerial bomb hit the roadway. The explosion damaged 6 buildings on the territory of the medical complex, hotels, and a higher educational institution. Kiosks and a car located near the place of the explosion were damaged. Among the patients who were in the hospital at the time of arrival, 4 were injured. All of them have moderate or mild injuries. Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the regional military administration, told about it.

Chairman Ihor Terekhov reported that 15 people were wounded as a result of the shelling, including three children. They are in a moderate condition.

“The first hit was recorded near the hospital in the center of the city. Two hotels were damaged nearby, as well as the contact tram network. In addition, Karazin University was affected. The second hit occurred in the Kholodnohirsky district, where 19 private houses were damaged, in which we are now helping to close the circuits The third blow was inflicted on the Kyiv district. Fortunately, no one was hurt there,” Igor Terekhov said.

The contact network at the site of the first impact has almost been restored, and trams will soon be running on their usual routes.

Another flight happened in the Kyiv region, as a result of which the grass caught fire on an area of ​​1 hectare.

Volunteers help to clear debris and eliminate the consequences of flights. As of three in the morning, 110 windows were closed.
