On December 29, during a massive attack on Ukraine, the Russians hit the civilian infrastructure of Lviv. The local authorities reported on the scale of the destruction.
On December 30, the mayor of the city, Andriy Sadovy, held a meeting with the residents of the buildings that suffered from the massive attack. The official explained how the consequences of shelling will be eliminated.
How many houses were damaged in Lviv
According to the chairman, as a result of the December 29 rocket attack on Lviv, 18 residential buildings were damaged, more than 2,000 windows were broken.
Sadovy emphasized that windows and doors have already started to be installed.
The city will compensate the cost or help with the works. Up to 12,000 hryvnias for windows and up to 8,000 hryvnias for front doors, the chairman noted.
3 schools and a kindergarten were damaged
Sadovy reported that windows have already started to be installed in the two less damaged schools.
In particular, new windows will be installed at the Lyceum “Oriana” in two weeks at the expense of benefactors. Funds will be taken from the city budget for the reconstruction of the building itself.
The preliminary cost of eliminating the consequences of enemy shelling on the housing stock is 35 million hryvnias. Loss calculations are ongoing for educational institutions, Sadovyi said.

Five explosions were heard in Lviv during the attack. One person died. 15 people were injured. In particular, one woman is in serious condition.
On the morning of December 29, the Russian Federation hit Ukraine with more than 110 missiles. The Russians were also used by Shahedi. Unfortunately, there are hits to civil infrastructure facilities in various regional centers.
As of 15:00, the number of victims from the shelling on December 29 was 39 dead and 159 injured.
