“The state of the energy system in the Sumy region, as in other regions, depends on the situation with energy supply in the state,” the head of the Sumy regional military administration said. – We continue to increase the capabilities of our regional system, which was destroyed by the enemy during this year. About 800 attacks were carried out by the enemy on energy facilities in 2024. This is almost 2 times more than in 2023. We continue to restore, strengthen the protection of these facilities and increase backup power sources. The government and international partners help us in this.”
