The Mariupol seaport has become an element of military logistics and a tool for plundering the occupied territories. The Russians are exporting grain, metal and other cargo.
This was reported by the Mariupol City Council
Thus, according to preliminary information, it is known that since the beginning of this year, more than 350 thousand tons of various types of cargo have been exported from Mariupol, the city council specified.
Earlier, the Russians launched the operation of a cargo sorting and transshipment station, and also restored large railway scales. This allows them to increase the pace and additionally transfer resources through the seaport, the council explains:
“Mariupol is strategically important for the Russian occupiers. The Russians are actively using the seaport to export looted goods and meet the military needs of their army. In addition, the port has already begun loading sea bulk carriers with dual-purpose cargo. “All this indicates that the Russians are increasing their use of the port for transportation, including materials needed for the needs of the front,” emphasized Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko.
