In Chernihiv region, police and medics came under Russian fire while rescuing civilians

In Chernihiv region, patrol police and an ambulance team came under repeated Russian fire while providing assistance to victims of a Russian drone attack.

This was reported by the first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksiy Biloshitsky.

The incident occurred on the evening of September 19 at around 10:00 p.m. Patrol police inspectors who were at a road station heard explosions nearby and arrived at the scene. There they found an ambulance and medics who were providing assistance to civilians after a drone strike.

At this point, the Russians struck again. The police and ambulance service vehicles were damaged as a result of the attack.

Earlier that evening, a Russian suicide drone hit a civilian car in the Chernihiv region. The driver and two passengers were injured and sustained injuries of varying severity.
